Anna Chapman set for bright life, says Vladimir Putin

Ms Chapman was one of ten Russian agents expelled from the US earlier this month after the intelligence services uncovered an espionage ring.
Vladimir Putin has met the spies expelled from the US (Allstar)
The Russian prime minister revealed he has met with them since they returned home and that they spent an evening singing patriotic Soviet-era songs.
Mr Putin, a former KGB agent, also told them how much he admired them for the sacrifices they had made during their time in the US and indicated they would be well looked after in Russia.
"I have no doubts they will have interesting, bright lives," he said.
His verdict may come as a relief to Ms Chapman, who was stripped of her British citizenship after admitting to being part of the biggest spy ring discovered in the post-Cold War era.
The 28-year-old, who used to be married to a Briton, had a successful job as a real estate agent in the US, but may have to look for a new career in Russia.
She has received at least one work offer since being deported, with adult film producer Vivid Entertainment revealing it was happy to send a crew to Moscow if Ms Chapman was prepared to star in one of its porn films.
Whatever she does next, Ms Chapman will hope to have a happier life than that predicted by Mr Putin for the traitors who betrayed the Russian spies.
"Traitors always end badly. They finish up as drunks, addicts, on the street," he warned.
