LIL WAYNE SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER RELEASE

Lil Wayne began serving his one-year jail sentence at New York City’s Rikers Island facility on March 8, but it looks like the New Orleans rapper will make it home long before Thanksgiving rolls around.
MTV News reports that Weezy is currently scheduled to see a November 4 release — just 8 months into his sentence — as long as he manages to avoid any violations for behavioral issues. During the past four months, Wayne has managed to keep in touch with fans via his new blog and last week his co-manager and Young Money CEO Cortez Bryant revealed that the incarcerated emcee would drop a new EP titled ’I’m Not a Human Being’ in September.

There has been no official word yet on Lil Wayne’s immediate post-jail plans, but Young Money rapper, Jae Millz has hinted to MTV that a live performance is probably on the bill.
Wayne’s current jail sentence stems from a 2007 arrest in New York City after police discovered a gun and marijuana on his tour bus. The rapper plead guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon in October 2009, and in March he was sentenced to one year in jail, although he was only expected to serve eight months of his sentence.
